Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are an English rock band formed in 2010 by Oasis songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Noel Gallagher. The project serves as Gallagher's solo endeavor, featuring a touring band that includes former Oasis members Gem Archer (guitar) and Chris Sharrock (drums), along with former Oasis touring-member Mike Rowe (piano) and former Zutons bassist Russell Pritchard. Various guest musicians have contributed to the band's studio recordings, including the Crouch End Festival Chorus, Amorphous Androgynous, Johnny Marr, and Paul Weller. Following his departure from Oasis in August 2009, there was speculation about Gallagher pursuing a solo career.
