Migos was an American hip hop group formed in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2008. The group consisted of Quavo, his nephew Takeoff, and their friend Offset. Quavo was from Athens, Georgia, while Offset and Takeoff were born and raised in Lawrenceville. The group was managed by Coach K and frequently worked with producers DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, Zaytoven, and Buddah Bless. Migos were associated with the development of trap music in the 2010s and were noted for bringing elements of North Atlanta culture into mainstream music. The group's 2013 single "Versace" emerged from their third mixtape, "Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas)", released in June 2013. The song was later remixed by Drake, which contributed to its entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Subsequent singles included "Fight Night" and "Look at My Dab" in the following years.
