From the land of Rain, Cheese and Electronic Music, hails the rising powerhouse that is Mees Salomé! Born and raised in the Netherlands, Mees embarked on his musical journey at the age of 17. After completing high school, Mees pursued formal training in Creative Production at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. However, feeling constrained by the limitations of traditional education, he opted to chart his own course. In addition to his production endeavours, Mees is the founder of Distant, a platform that has evolved from a monthly podcast into a renowned event, hosting esteemed artists and performing his now homegrown favourite open to close sets. Whilst Mees has had previous releases on labels such as; Filth on Acid, This Never Happened, Armada and more, he has also had prominent collaborations remixing tracks for Joris Voorn, Tinlicker and Röyksopp. Mees’s music has garnered strong support from Adriatique, Camelphat, Kölsch, Nora En Pure, Joris Voorn, Lane 8, ASOT, BBC Radio 1 &
