Dokken is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The group disbanded in 1989 and reunited in 1993. During the 1980s, Dokken achieved commercial success with several singles that entered the Billboard Hot 100, including "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame". The band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Their live album "Beast from the East" was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989. The classic Dokken line-up consisted of founder Don Dokken (vocals), George Lynch (lead guitar), Mick Brown (drums), and Jeff Pilson (bass). Pilson joined the band in 1983, replacing Juan Croucier, and this formation remained stable from 1983 to 1989 and again from 1993 to 1998. The classic line-up briefly reunited in 2016. Following various changes in the guitarist position, Jon Levin became the band’s lead guitarist in 2004. In 2001, Barry Sparks replaced Pilson on bass. He was succeeded by Sean McNabb in 2009, who w
