There is more than one artist / band by the name of Cashu: (1) A four-piece indie from Kent, UK (2) A DJ from from São Paulo, Brazil Cashu (1) were a four piece indie band from Kent, UK formed in 2000 and playing until 2004. Band members included Mark Wells (Kaleidophone and Prelude) and Gavin Dwight (Real nice, AGE, Good Dangers and Assembly Now). They self-released one EP Tow The Line and had later tracks remixed by Adam Parkes. Cashu (2) is the pseudonym of Carol Schutzer, a DJ from São Paulo, Brazil, who is recognized for her work in her city’s queer electronic music community. .
