Bad Omens is an American metal band formed in 2015 in Richmond, Virginia by vocalist and producer Noah Sebastian, (then) guitarist Nicholas Ruffilo and bassist Vincent Riquier. The current lineup of the band includes: Noah Sebastian (lead vocals, programming), Nicholas Ruffilo (bass, backing vocals), Joakim Karlsson (lead guitar, programming, backing vocals and rhythm guitar) and Nick Folio (drums and percussions). History The first idea to form the band came in 2013 when Noah Sebastian, then guitarist of a Washington D.C.-based band named Immoralist, began writing lyrics. Therefore in 2014 he departed the band and in the subsequent year he contacted his old friend Nicholas Ruffilo to start his new project, later involving bassist Vincent Riquier, who introduced him to another friend, Joakim "Jolly" Karlsson.
